Criminals arrive at residential complex and shoot family

Four people injured by a gun projectile left behind in an attack reported by the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police on the night of Saturday, June 3 in the municipality of Malambo.

The events were recorded around 10 p.m. at the Ciudadela Real del Caribe residential complex, located in the El Concorde neighborhood.

According to the authorities’ report, “the victims were talking at the scene and the subjects who mobilized in a public service vehicle and a motorcycle, without saying a word, repeatedly fired at them after they fled.”

The injured were identified as Luis Alberto Luque Simanca, age 23; Josefina Isabel Garcia de Simanca, 74 years old; Jackeline Simanca García, 53 years old and José Luis Rodríguez Valdelamar, 25 years old.

So far, the motives for the attack are unknown.

Less than a month ago, a young man was also shot, causing his death while sharing an apartment terrace with other people.

It was about 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, when two individuals aboard a motorcycle reached Calle 26A with Carrera 16, the site of the Ciudadela Real del Caribe residential complex, in Malambo, and killed Jesús David Cueto. old.

As for the facts, the Metropolitan Police of Barranquilla indicated that they took place during a meeting within the complex. The victim was there with friends and family when the dark-clad individuals arrived to shoot alone Cueto Trocha, who was reportedly engaged in informal surveillance.

After the act was committed, the criminals fled to the Villa Esther neighborhood in the same city.
