A permanent job is no longer the passion of many workers. At least not for Kelan and Brittany Kline, a young married couple who decided to boldly quit their jobs in 2019 to start their own business and work from home. It’s a radical change for the two spouses not only in their lifestyles but also in their finances: both went from $100,000 a year to $100,000 a month. Before he changed jobs, he was a teacher while he worked several jobs, including security.
Theirs is more of a unique experience than rare. That is why the two spouses became the heroes of an interview with Forbes, who wanted to tell their success story. The two opened the site “The Savvy Couple”, which quickly became a reference point for savers in the United States. The remarkable thing is that both have no previous experience of running an online business.
The site started out as a way to speak up and tell users how to better manage their finances, based on their own experience of supporting their new family on a limited income. It was a success, and in just three years their blog had turned into a golden egg-laying accident. Initially, they managed to earn $ 500 per month. Then, the blog’s reputation and revenue exploded. Two spouses no longer have to work: there are no working hours and they can better manage their time between holidays, family and hobbies.
