The information was released by Patricia Vargas, Director of Early Childhood at the Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla, through a publication on the social network Twitter.
“Congratulations! We have recovered the refrigerator, tables, chairs and other kitchen utensils. I thank the Metropolitan Police for their support in this process of recovering the looted items in the CDI Carlos Meisel. We invite all belongings to give back” the official wrote.
He also urged that the other utensils still needed be returned.
“Remember! that the main people affected are the 440 beneficiaries who today have nowhere to receive their 3 meals, their pedagogical experience and the comprehensive care they received at the Carlos Meisel CDI. You can go to the CAI in the El Silencio neighborhood and collect the items delivery,” he concluded.
Likewise, authorities have told the community to report if they know the whereabouts of the stolen items.
