There is confirmation. Ankara Ministry of Defense announced that 5 people working at the missile factory, where the violent explosion occurred in Ankara this morning, lost their lives. In the statement made by the Ministry, “An explosion occurred at the Mke missile factory in the Elmadağ district of Ankara. 5 of our workers were martyred as a result of the explosion. A judicial and administrative investigation was launched.”
According to Turkish CNN’s report, a fire broke out after the explosion. Firefighters and doctors who came to the scene intervened in the injured. The factory where the explosion took place produces missiles and explosives for the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Interior.
