On the afternoon of this Thursday, June 15, uniformed members of the Metropolitan Police of Barranquilla attend a murder case registered on Calle 61 between 25 and 26 carreras, in the Los Andes neighborhood, apparently from an attempted robbery.
The version used by the authorities is that the man who was shot and lost his life on the spot allegedly tried to rob someone of his belongings, but in a quick reaction from the latter, he avoided such action using a donation weapon . .
It should be noted that on the morning of this Wednesday, June 14, an attempted robbery was also thwarted in the same sector. The case occurred on Calle 60 with Carrera 24, around 9 a.m., when a 41-year-old man drove through the above address in a Suzuki-branded vehicle, registration number LLZ-582.
At that point, two strangers matched his speed and told him to stop the vehicle, pointing a firearm at him. During a maneuver, the victim apparently tried to evade the robbery.
However, this led to the criminals firing the gun once and attempting to touch the victim at neck level as they fled.
