Corporal Barranquillero was killed by Farc dissidents in Buenaventura

The National Navy reported this holiday Monday the murder of the first Corporal of the Marine Infantry Jeiner Enrique Munive Polo, born in Barranquilla, at the hands of the Farc dissidents in the rural area of ​​Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.

According to the institution, the corporal from Barranquilla was wounded during a gun attack committed by members of the Jaime Martínez front of the Farc dissidents against troops of the Fluvial Battalion of Marine Infantry No. 24 passing through the Naya River.

Jeiner Enrique Munive Polo immediately received first aid from his teammates, but died a few minutes later from the severity of his injuries.

“It is with deep sadness and utter rejection that we denounce the vicious killing of the First Marine Infantry Corporal Jeiner Enrique Munive Polo, who lost his life when attacked by members of the FARC dissidents in the rural area of ​​Buenaventura,” wrote the commander on Twitter of the Colombian Navy, Admiral Francisco Cubides Granados.
