Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg was fined in court for disobeying a police order. The news agency reported tt explains that officers asked Greta to end a climate protest in Malmö, Sweden, on June 19. The environmentalist, along with a group of activists, had blocked the road traveled by trucks carrying oil to the port of Malmö in southern Sweden.
“My actions are justified”
Thunberg admitted to participating in the protest and disobeying the police order, but pleaded not guilty, saying she was acting out of necessity. “My actions are justified,” he said in court, the Swedish newspaper reported.
