It was a real nightmare for him and his family, as the 14-year-old reiterated to the US media: “My profile was hacked. I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe, but I am completely heartbroken and struggling to even find the right words: it’s been a very traumatic 24 hours.”
“I’ve been bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones throughout the day trying to sort out this mess,” Lil Tay added, to the point where even my name was wrong. My real name is Tay Tian, not Claire Hope.” In fact, news of the teenage webstar’s death immediately cast strong suspicions. Los Angeles police, where the 14-year-old boy lived, and Vancouver police, where his family resides, could not find any evidence. Even the young woman’s father, who was her former manager, had not confirmed the death. Now, 24 hours later, the mystery has been solved.
The 14-year-old actress, who started sharing content on social media at the age of nine in 2017, is alive and well. His videos have brought him tremendous success, but there are many who do not share his “style” of cursed monologues, showing off wealth and money, and insults to the poor passers-by. Within a year, she reached 3 million followers on Instagram before disappearing from social networks in 2018. The true reasons for this decision were never officially disclosed, but hypotheses abound: from a custody dispute between parents to allegations of abuse against the father to the legal battle over revenue from Lil’s videos.
