EL HERALDO learned through Inpec sources that Díaz Collazos requested permission from the National Penitentiary and Prison Institute to attend his father’s funeral in the Atlantic capital, but was refused for “security reasons”.

However, in accordance with the agreement with the prisoner, he was given a space to virtually connect with his family just at the time of his father’s funeral. And apparently during the connection allowed from a courtroom of the High and Medium Security Jail and Penitentiary in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, where he resides, he took the opportunity to send the message that lasts about four minutes.

But in another part of the video, he makes a revelation: “To the cowards who killed my father, the assassins, Roberto Vega, his mother and sisters; to the prosecutors and police officers serving Los Vegas, to Digno, who is a lackey for coins today, I want you to know that I forgive you. That I am not the same as you who, out of cowardice, sends three assassins to kill a 74-year-old farmer alone and unarmed…”.
