On the night of Friday, August 11, after a few days of apparent calm, another hitman raid in the municipality of Soledad left two dead and another two wounded.
A report from the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police indicates that around 11:30 pm, a gunman arrived at a billiard room with the trade name ‘El Portal Rumbero’, located at 63C street with carrera 14C, sector of the Villa Rosa de Soledad neighborhood.
On site, the gunman located four men standing in front of the company door and shot them repeatedly.
As a result of the attack, Rubén Darío Colina Espinoza, 34, and Jhoiner Enrique Leal Rodríguez, 21, were killed.
In the case of Colina Espinoza, he was said to have died at the scene of the events. While the death of the 21-year-old took place in the Agrupasalud clinic in the same municipality.
On the other hand, the two injured respond to the names of Ángel Gabriel González Romero, 19, and Luis Enrique Cantillo Rebolledo, 30. The first was transferred to the Universidad Del Norte Hospital and the second to the Agrupasalud Clinic.
The authority pointed out that the causes of this criminal act are still unknown. He also reported that relatives of the victims stated that none of the people shot had any problems with anyone.
