The rape was so brutal that healthcare workers had to seek psychological help. In Cherbourg, a town in the northwest of France, a 29-year-old French girl became the victim.
According to Le Figaro’s account, the woman was raped and tortured and was in a coma induced by her severe injuries. His torturer used a 75 cm broom handle and with it several times pierced his colon, small intestine, peritoneum and diaphragm and broke some of his ribs. The woman is fighting for life and death. The hospital he stayed in activated psychological support for the first responders. Some are in shock.
Police arrested an 18-year-old teenager suspected of being the perpetrator of the rape. Allegedly, the man admitted, “but showed absolutely no empathy for the victim.” According to Le Figaro, the young man would also be at the center of the sexual assault case against his 4-year-old sister.
