Those captured were identified as Luis Eduardo and Carlos Andrés Gómez Abadía; Alfonso Gómez Pineda and Carlos Julio Ramírez Ortega, the latter known by the alias ‘Musulman’.
Regarding this individual, General Ramírez reported his ties to the Gaitanist Self-Defense Forces of Colombia and the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel, as well as his direct relationship with alias “Chiquito Malo.”
“Alias ’Musulmán’ coordinated all logistics for shipping cocaine to the United States, he also managed the finances of drug trafficker Juan Carlos Cuesta, aka ‘Gordo Rufla’, captured in 2021 and extradited in March 2023,” added the high officially.
