Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar confirmed that the Ukrainian army had completely liberated the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region.
“We are on the offensive in the south. This is our main attack front. In the Zaporozhian and Kherson regions, the enemy is on the defensive. As you know, Robotyne has been liberated and our troops are moving southeast of Robotyne and south of Mała Tokmachka, the deputy minister of national broadcasting said.
– These are the fronts on which our forces are currently advancing, despite fierce enemy resistance – emphasized Hanna Maliar. She also added that Ukrainian troops liberated a square kilometer on the Bakhmut front last week. – At the Bachmut front, as you can see on the map, there is a horseshoe around the city. (…) We are making progress on the southern flank of Bakhmut, and last week another square kilometer was liberated there, increasing the total area of our liberated area there to 44 square kilometers, said Hanna Maliar.

On the same day, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Załużny, posted a video on the network from the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region, which had recently been invaded by Ukrainian troops, and the Ukrainian flag was already flying over the village.
British intelligence: strategic exercise cancelled
Russia has most likely canceled the Zapad 2023 exercise, a new analysis from Britain’s defense intelligence agency shows. “The exercise should have taken place in September 2023. Since 2010, Russia has been conducting a four-year cycle, changing the location of the exercises. However, since 2021, Russia has been conducting Zapad in Western Russia at least every two years. because it gives priority to confronting what it considers a threat from NATO.
Zapad 2021 were the largest Russian exercises since the Soviet era. “The poor performance of the Russian army in Ukraine highlighted that these exercises had limited training value and were largely designed for PR effect. Russia probably canceled Zapad 23 due to the insufficient number of troops and equipment,” the analysis said.
