Agents from the National Police’s Homicide Group are investigating the causes of death of a 54-year-old woman and her 25-year-old son, whose bodies were found Friday, Sept. 1, in a hotel room in Valencia, Spain.
It was learned that the victims of the heinous crime, committed on Les Corts Avenue, were Colombian citizens.
According to Spanish authorities, the woman and her son were last seen last Wednesday, so it is believed they have since died.
Police units are currently investigating what happened. One of the established hypotheses is that the woman killed the young man and then committed suicide.
According to the newspapers Levante-EMV and Las Provincias, hotel employees found the bodies of the young man’s wife, who apparently had an intellectual disability.
The Generalitat’s Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) received the report at 3:40 p.m. and a SAMU unit traveled to the scene, which alone has been able to confirm the deaths of both, they have notified EFE to the Ministry of Health. .
