Prigozhin, it’s a war between relatives for the inheritance. “Already before…”: which filters

After the private funeral of the head of the Wagner group, the Kremlin said that the plane crash in which Yevgeny Prigozhin died may have been a deliberate act. Many people continue to go to the St. Petersburg cemetery where Wagner’s head is buried and to lay wreaths on his grave. However, much has been said about the accident in which Prigozhin lost his life. Some hypothesize that Vladimir Putin was behind the plane crash, eager for revenge for the mercenary troop leader’s attempted coup against Kremlin officials last June. Today, the newspaper Il Messaggero clarified the disputes that arose between Prigozhin’s relatives over the inheritance.

“We learned that disputes between relatives and in-laws were already happening long before the executive jet of the founder of the mercenary company deployed around the world fell into unclear circumstances”, reads Il Messaggero. According to the Russian website “Mozhem Obyasnit”, the division of assets belonging to Yevgeny Prigozhin would have started in a period prior to the crash of the jet in which Wagner’s head went up.

While the nature of Prigozhin’s empire is unknown, “references to 600 companies in 15 countries were found during the search of his main residence in St. Petersburg”. President Putin’s chef, in fact, in addition to being responsible for the Kremlin’s catering, also had a troll factory, a chocolate museum in the city of St. Petersburg, real estate and Megaline, a company that sets up military camps.
