Two models found dead within 48 hours: Serial killer hypothesis

Young, beautiful, she died in uncertain circumstances. Fear over the disappearance of two models in Los Angeles: Nichole “Nikki” Coats and Malisa Mooney, 32 and 31. They were found lifeless in their own apartments a few hours apart. The idea of ​​a serial killer is frightening, but no official confirmation from investigative circles has been found.

Nichole Coats’ body was found on September 10. Unable to hear from the young woman, her family became alarmed. The girl’s death was declared “suspicious”. Autopsy is awaited.

Two days later, Malisa Mooney was also found murdered in an apartment building less than three miles away. When the young woman did not respond to calls and messages, her family started looking for her. There seems to be no doubt in his case: Murder. However, it is unclear how much time passed between death and the discovery of the body.

“I want answers, I want to know why my daughter died. Nikki had no enemies,” said her mother, Sharon Coats. Investigators are trying to reconstruct possible connections between the two young women and reconstruct the last hours of their lives.
