15-year-old boy rejected the flowers of his ex-girlfriend who wanted to reconcile and killed her with a machete

A 15-year-old female student was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend who refused to accept a bouquet of flowers and make peace. The incident took place in Croydon, south London. An eyewitness said the attacker offered her flowers but she refused before stabbing him around 8.30am. Bloody roses, thought to be plastic, were examined by forensic medicine teams at the scene. Several eyewitnesses said the weapon used resembled a machete.

The Metropolitan Police said the alleged attacker, a 17-year-old boy, was arrested and remains in custody in New Addington. Several eyewitnesses have revealed devastating details of a bloody stabbing incident in which a bus driver unfortunately failed to save the young woman, the Sun reports. “The driver tried to help him and stop the bleeding. Eventually his shirt was completely covered in her blood.” The police and emergency services were immediately notified, but unfortunately the young woman died less than an hour after the attack. One eyewitness said he saw a group of schoolchildren and adults fleeing the scene immediately after the stabbing.

“There were people running everywhere with their children. The only person left was the bus driver. Many people got out of their vehicles and started running,” he said. “A friend told me that the boy and the girl got off the bus and talked. He gave her flowers, but she didn’t want anything to do with him. That’s when the young man became violent and stabbed her. The knife was like a sword.”
