Panic among students and staff on a campus in Baltimore. A shooting occurred at Morgan State University late on the evening of October 3, injuring at least four people. They were rescued and taken to hospital.
A police spokesman confirmed the presence of injuries but no further details were released. Councilman Ryan Dorsey explained in a post on X that there was speculation that “three gunmen opened fire on the crowd.” No arrests have been reported so far, only that the “situation has been resolved.”

Morgan State University is a historically African-American institution and has approximately 9,000 students, according to CNN. The shooting occurred on the day of the coronation of “Mister and Miss Morgan State.”
