According to today’s British intelligence assessment published on the social network E, we read, it is “one of the most sophisticated jets” available to Moscow, which has lost around 90 aircraft since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February last year.
According to London’s military secret services, “the location is relevant because Tokmak is a heavily fortified location that frequently hosts Russian headquarters that command one of the most contested sectors of the front line”, explains the 007 report, which highlights how “these commandos they would normally be protected with short- and medium-range air defense systems.”
