The earth shakes heavily in Afghanistan. A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck the western part of the country this morning. The United States Geological Survey released the news: the epicenter was identified near Herat, the largest city in the region. To be more precise, 40 kilometers (25 miles) northwest of Herat, and was followed by an aftershock measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale. There are currently no reports of damage to people or things.
Due to the earthquake, residents of Herat left their homes and shops onto the streets.☹️☹️
