Almost 700 deaths in one day, with heavy losses on both fronts. More than 350 people, including 30 soldiers, lost their lives in Israel due to the attack launched by Hamas militants and more than 1,800 were injured, some of them seriously. Furthermore, 750 Israelis are still missing after the incursion by Palestinian terrorists: it is not certain that they are all dead, given that many people were kidnapped by Hamas men.
Following the rocket launch at dawn, Israel immediately implemented a firm response and at least 313 Palestinians were killed in Israeli military retaliation against the Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian enclave’s Ministry of Health, almost two thousand people were injured. And the conflict continues unabated even more than 24 hours after the plan implemented by Hamas. Israel must also face Hezbollah attacks from Lebanon, with a true siege on the Jewish State.
