Israeli rocket live on TV, Al Jazeera journalist’s reaction: the video

Youmna El Sayed, Al Jazeera’s Gaza City correspondent, is live to give the latest updates on Hamas’ attack on Israel and the Jewish state’s response in the Strip. During his speech, a rocket hits the tower behind him: the noise is very loud and the journalist screams in fright. “Please protect yourself, Youmna; explain to us what is happening if you can do so safely; otherwise, protect yourself,” says his colleague in the Qatari broadcaster’s studio. The reporter tries to find herself again, resuming the news, but is visibly shaken: “Don’t stop, breathe a little.”

An Israeli fighter struck the building, the 14-story Palestine Tower. Youmna El Sayed, correspondent for the Qatari broadcaster in Gaza, speaks from a building opposite, with her back to the skyscraper: she screams in fear while live, on her head is a helmet with the word “press” written on it, print out. Video shows the first attack on the building, suspected of housing Hamas militiamen, which was later hit by other rockets.
