Family massacred by Hamas: Husband, wife and three children killed

Endless fear in Israel: provisional death toll stands at 700, while the number of people held hostage by Hamas is over 100. Confirmed victims include Tamar Kedem Siman Tov and her husband Yonatan; They, along with their two six-year-old daughters, were brutally murdered. -Old Shachar and Arbel with their 4-year-old son in Nir Oz in southern Israel. The photo of them all smiling together was published by Israel’s official account on the social network X (formerly Twitter) and became one of the symbolic images of the terrible violence committed by terrorists. Little information is currently available in local media: While in their home, the family would be surprised by the militia who showed no mercy even to three young children.

The children’s mother, 35-year-old Tamar, was involved in politics and had recently run for president of the Eshkol Regional Council. Her friend Tzofia Cohen paid tribute to her with a touching post on Facebook: “Tamar was a pioneering activist who was successful in everything she touched. She was an excellent scout coordinator at Ashodod, where I met 14 years ago. She always was.” A hardworking, intelligent, practical and energetic person who always establishes good relationships with others. We got in touch again recently. My heart is bleeding – the woman continues to share – I can’t believe it. How can this happen? How is it? A humble person kills children along with their parents? “My thoughts go out to his parents, his siblings and Johnny’s family.”
