Israel, “they are preparing something big.” Hamas intelligence warning ignored

Israel was warned by Egyptian intelligence that Hamas was preparing “something big”, but ignored the warnings. This is supported by an Egyptian intelligence source cited on condition of anonymity by the Israeli media: Israeli authorities, the source added, preferred to focus on the threat coming from the West Bank, ignoring that from the Gaza Strip, from where the five thousand then left, rockets launched into enemy territory and incursions by armed terrorists. «We warned them that the situation was about to explode and very soon too. And it would have been great. But they underestimated these warnings,” said the Egyptian source, who often acts as a mediator between Israel and Hamas. From the first moments of the Hamas attack, the Israeli security services were blamed: something went wrong and the Jewish State found itself unprepared for the attack, which caused more than 700 deaths, 2,500 injuries, many of them seriously, and around 750 missing, with at least 100 hostages in Palestinian hands.
