Authorities inside Chili They’re investigating the murder Karen Xiomara Gómez Bravo, 20 years old, originally from the municipality El Cerrito, Valle del Cauca. According to preliminary information, the young woman was allegedly murdered by her romantic partner, so it could be a femicide.

The events took place last Sunday, October 15, in a building in the metropolitan area of Santiago de Chile, where the woman had lived for a year with the alleged femicide.
Preliminary, authorities have determined that the victim’s partner also hails from the said community in the Valley and is believed to have been responsible for her death after shooting the young woman several times in the middle of an argument. He was identified as Victor Manuel Salcedo.
The police report shows that it was the same residents of the building who notified authorities after finding Gómez Bravo’s lifeless body, which was found about 24 hours after the crime.
