The young man was arrested in the morning hours of this Wednesday, October 18, by members of the National Police in the sector known as Las Tablitas, from the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood.
As EL HERALDO learned, the man was known by the alias ‘Villamaría’was wanted because he was believed to be the material author of the crime of Carlos Andrés Palacio Garay and Armando Quintero Reyeswhich took place on January 23 at 53B Street with 3G1.
There, according to the authorities’ investigation, ‘Villamaría’ arrived and “without saying a word” pistol-type firearm fired repeatedly against the humanity of these two people, and flee the scene on foot.
Authorities indicated that Palacio Garay was left lifeless at the scene; while Quintero Reyes managed to be helped and taken to the facilities of the Adelita de Char Clinicmedical center where he died.
