At least three people were killed and more were injured on the night of Monday, October 23, after a shooting in the Palatino Billar, located at Carrera 19 and Calle 24, in the San Antonio de Soledad neighborhood.
People in the sector indicated that around 10:30 p.m., two people entered the business and opened fire on some men who were sitting around a table playing pool.
Two of the fatalities remained at the scene. While a third person died while admitted to the Mother and Child Hospital on June 13.
One of the injured remains in serious condition at the Universidad del Norte hospital and two others were transferred to the Porvenir clinic.
People at the scene told authorities that the criminals left the scene and got on two motorcycles to flee.
This is the second massacre recorded in the Barranquilla metropolitan area in 48 hours.
Let us not forget that on the night of Saturday, October 21, subjects arrived on board a motorcycle at a house in the Los Ciruelos neighborhood of Malambo, killing three people, including a minor, and leaving three others injured.
The Atlántico department is the second area in the country to record multiple homicides in 2023. In total there are nine bloody incidents, which surpass other conflict areas.
