The famous Arab-Israeli actress and influencer Maisa Abd Elhadi was detained in Nazareth by the Israeli police on charges of having expressed her support for Hamas and the attack launched against Israel, with the subsequent taking of hostages, on October 7th. The police confirmed the arrest of “an actress and internet influencer, resident in the city of Nazaré, on charges of praising terrorism and inciting hatred”. The note released by the Times of Israel states that “the police fight against incitement and support for terrorism continues uninterrupted”.
On social media, Abd Elhadi shared images of an elderly woman taken hostage by Hamas with smiling emojis and another image of Hamas terrorist forces breaching Israel’s security barrier with the English caption “Let’s go, Berlin style”. Abd Elhadi has appeared in several Israeli programs, the film ‘World War Z’ and, most recently, the British series ‘Baghdad Central’. However, social support for Palestinian terrorists cost him dearly.
