Considering this, the Colonel John Urrea, commander of the Atlántico Police Departmentconfirmed that through an extraordinary Security Council of the National Police, in collaboration with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, all relevant investigations will be conducted to establish the veracity of this document and to determine who the people were who made it public.
“We are going to carry out work in coordination between our judicial police and the Attorney General’s office to verify the entire body of evidence, either with surveillance cameras and testimonies of people who can help us identify who were the people who released information or who delivered this pamphlets”, Colonel Urrea commented.

However, he emphasized that according to intelligence sources, this group does not have a defined or strong presence in the department or in that municipality. “In these groups, this practice of making political demands through this type of communication or these types of pamphlets no longer occurs; they are almost always extortionate. Likewise, we don’t completely rule out the veracity, but we are already investigating. to define the material authors of this fact, individualize them and bring them to justice,” he said.
In the alleged pamphlet, the AGC gives the mayor 24 hours to leave the municipality.
