Fear of a nuclear accident returns to war in Ukraine. Ukrainian forces attempted a nighttime drone attack on a nuclear power plant in Kursk, Russia, but did not inflict any damage on the facility. The information was reported by the press service of the Kursk nuclear power plant, on the border between Russia and Ukraine. «On the night of October 26, the attack by three enemy unmanned aerial vehicles on the Kursk nuclear power plant was stopped. This did not affect the operation of the plant”, reads the note published on social media.
According to the Russian agency Interfax, the Russian FSB dismantled a Ukrainian network of secret agents in the Zaporizhzhia area. “The Russian Federal Security Service disrupted the operations of three large agent networks coordinated by the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine during a special operation conducted in the Zaporozhia region,” says the FSB’s public relations center, the service Russian domestic intelligence agency, which reported the arrest of Ukrainian information resource administrators who operated as part of a network of Ukrainian military intelligence agents. Ukrainian and Russian citizens were arrested and one officer was killed during the operation.
