The parents of the 26-year-old attacker were kidnapped by some criminals in Colombia: the woman, Cilenis Marulanda, was rescued in the city of Barrancas, as confirmed by president Gustavo Pedro, while her father, Luis Manuel Diaza, is still missing. While the whole country is in shock, the police continue to search for the man.
According to reconstructions, the couple were at a gas station when they were approached by gunmen on motorcycles. Some eyewitnesses said they saw four men on a motorcycle approach the actor’s parents and then take them away. The woman was rescued a few hours after the kidnapping, thanks to one of the local police checkpoints, but there was still no news of her father.
