Shifa Hospital, the video that targets Hamas and the testimony of the militiamen

Hamas’ headquarters in Gaza would be located under Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City. The information was reported by the spokesman for the Tel Aviv defense forces, Daniel Hagari, who said that from then on Hamas would give orders to its militiamen and coordinate the launch of rockets against Israel. The site would only be accessible through several underground tunnels and some hospital units, with which it would also share the electricity network. The Israeli army has now released a video showing parts of the interrogations of militiamen from the Islamic political and paramilitary organization who were captured following the October 7 attack on Israel. Two men confirm what Hagari said in recent days: the terrorist group has a hideout under the Shifa hospital.

A militia member explained how the network of tunnels designed and built by Hamas works. It develops under the Gaza neighborhoods, but not all areas have an entrance. The tunnels are, in fact, hidden beneath the hospitals: “Shifa is not small, it is a large place that can be well used to hide things”, declared the interrogator. The network of tunnels is also used to transport explosives, weapons of all types, food and medical equipment. “Shifa is a safe place, you won’t be hit. It’s safe for them. This is what we know”, reiterated the Hamas man. He then confirmed that the terrorist group was storing fuel to the detriment of the population of Gaza: “First they worry about their cars and their jeeps and then about the people”. Further confirmations came from a second man: “They are using Shifa hospital, they are hiding there. But I don’t know anything about Najar (another medical center in Gaza, ed.).”
