We must stop those who want to cause mass unrest in Chechnya, and if they resist, we must shoot them in the forehead, Ramzan Kadyrov said.
– If even one person takes part in the riots, he must be detained and imprisoned. Fire three warning shots in the air and then, if the person does not comply, fire a fourth shot in the forehead. They can’t get out anymore. This is my order, Kadyrov told the heads of the security services.
He previously condemned the anti-Semitic events at Makhachkala airport, calling such actions unacceptable. – You cannot follow Russia’s enemies and undermine the situation from within. You cannot organize rallies, destroy airports in search of people of Jewish nationality and incite violence, he thundered. And he warned that the unrest would be “very seriously suppressed.”
Kadyrov also spoke of an attempted “provocation” in Chechnya, where the population was also trying to incite anti-Semitic activities against the backdrop of Israel’s war with Hamas.
An Israeli plane carried out an attack in Dagestan
Hundreds of people stormed the tarmac in Makhachkala, the capital of the predominantly Muslim republic of Dagestan in the southern Russian Federation, on Sunday evening when it was announced that a plane from Israel would land there.
Before officers could control the situation, the crowd chased the bus with passengers and threw stones at it. Protesters also checked cars leaving the airport for Jews.
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that more than 150 participants in the riots had been identified (independent media reported that 1,500 people took part in the incidents) and that 83 suspects had been arrested. Twenty people were injured, five of them are in hospital.
Anti-Semitic riots in Russia. Putin pointed out the perpetrators
A day after anti-Semitic riots in Dagestan, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the United States of organizing them. Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova blamed everything on Ukraine, while Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke of an “outside provocation.”
– We cannot be guided by emotions. We must see clearly who is really behind the tragedy of the people in the Middle East and other parts of the world, who organizes the deadly chaos and who benefits from it, Putin said, pointing to America.
Israel calls on authorities in Moscow to offer protection to Jews
Following the events at Makhachkala airport, the Israeli Foreign Ministry and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Russian authorities to “provide protection to the Israelis.” Netanyahu expressed hope that Moscow would “take decisive action against rioters and incitement to violence against Jews and Israelis.”
