Following an investigation by the specialized Public Prosecutor’s Office 11 of the Early Warning Homicide Unit in Barranquilla, led by Prosecutor Adolfo Niebles, a guarantee control judge ordered the transfer to the El Bosque district prison of Saith Smith Sánchez Jiménez, only 19 years old. age, for the murder of another young man named Daimer Manuel López López, during events that took place last September in the La Paz neighborhood, southwest of the capital.
These media have learned that Sánchez Jiménez has not accepted the charges of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder, in a successive homogeneous battle on two occasions, since in the same attack in which López López lost his life, José David Zanso Linero, from 29 years old, and the teenager Gustavo Osorio Ramos, 17 years old.
The investigation carried out by members of the Sijín made it possible to establish that last Wednesday, September 13, around 10 a.m. at night, the victims of the attack gathered at Carrera 13B and Calle 99D, in the above-mentioned sector, in commemoration of a years after the death of a friend.
At that moment, Saith Sánchez Jiménez appeared on the scene in the company of other nationals, alleged members of the ‘Los por Ley’ gang, and attacked López López and his companions.
As a result of the attack, the three victims ended up in care centers in the jurisdiction and on Thursday morning the 14th, López López’s death was confirmed on the Camino Adelita de Char.
Apparently, the reason for the attack is said to be due to territorial disputes between gang members, upon detecting the presence in the area of another group called the K13.
