Subjects rob photographer EL HERALDO in his Boston neighborhood home

An unfortunate event has left residents of the Boston neighborhood dismayed after unidentified persons entered the home of EL HERALDO photographer Jeisson Gutiérrez on Friday, November 10, and stole all his photographic equipment.

In dialogue with this publisher, the cameraman indicated that he came home on Friday afternoon around 5:30 p.m. and found the balcony door open and that his cameras, lenses and other photographic equipment had been stolen.

“I arrive around 7:30 in the afternoon, I open the door and see that the lights in the rooms are on, which seems strange to me because my partner was not there. The sliding glass door leading to the balcony was also open “There is a room adjacent to the balcony that I use as a studio where I leave all my equipment. When I entered, there was already no equipment there,” Gutiérrez said in a statement to EL HERALDO.

After the crime was reported, district authorities went to the building, collected evidence and conducted the corresponding investigation into the case. During this operation, the police found several fingerprint matches that were taken to the laboratory for examination.

Similarly, the member of this publishing house warned that when he arrived at his house on the fourth floor of the building, they found clothes lying on the balcony and fallen to the ground. “The balcony was open and there is a building next to it. I don’t know if the access from there is easy to my house,” he explained.

Police have already reviewed the home’s cameras and found no evidence of the robbery; However, Gutiérrez calls on the authorities to conduct a second assessment of this material to rule out any possible event.
