Cardiff Arcade City Day returns on Saturday 18th November with over 100 exclusive events, discounts and prizes for visitors to win on the day. Events include an oyster eating contest for just £10 at Jackson’s, a sourdough pop-up from Pettigrew Bakeries and a comedy night at Beyond Retro hosted by Lorna Pritchard and featuring Leroy Brito.
Lucy & Yak will host recycling workshops, Morgan Arcade will offer a free Santa’s Grotto and you can take a tour of the Old Liberty Building with live music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Shoppers are invited to enjoy exclusive discounts at popular brand stores and local independent stores including The Perfume Shop, Bill’s, Wally’s Liquor Cellar and more.
To encourage more visitors to Cardiff city center during the festive season, FOR Cardiff has funded a park and ride service at County Hall, which will launch on Arcade City Day and run on Saturdays from 18 November to 23 December. The service will cost £4. by car and runs from 9am to 7.30pm between City Hall and Canal Street every 20 minutes, with an additional bus from 12pm to 5pm.
