Bus crashed into the stream: There was a massacre

At least 37 dead and 19 injured. This is the tragic outcome of the horrific road accident that occurred in the Indian state of Kashmir on Wednesday morning, November 15. The bus with dozens of passengers left the road and fell into the valley at an altitude of 200 meters. The number of victims was confirmed by minister Jitendra Singh in a post on social media. However, the injured will be shifted to Kistwar district hospital and Government Medical College, Doda. According to the initial investigation by the local police, the accident occurred when the driver made a wrong maneuver and hit the guardrails protecting the roadside and the bus fell down the embankment.


Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, among others, expressed grief and condolences to the families: “I am deeply saddened to learn that precious lives have been lost due to a tragic accident in Doda. The local government is carrying out rescue operations. Operations are ongoing in the gorge where the bus crashed. Condolences to the families of the deceased.” I wish a speedy recovery to the injured.”
