Tokyo, car crashes into Israeli embassy barricade

Terror in the capital of Japan. A car crashed into a barricade near the Israeli embassy in Tokyo. Police reportedly arrested the driver, whose vehicle collided with the temporary barrier near the diplomatic representation building. The road accident, according to local media reports, occurred at around 11am local time (3am in Italy). Video footage circulated shows a car crashing into a fence at an intersection about 100 meters from the diplomatic headquarters. One police officer was slightly injured in the incident. The detained man is believed to be a fifty-year-old member of a right-wing group: this is what the first available information reveals. The attack hypothesis has not yet been confirmed or denied.
