Marianna Budanova, wife of Ukrainian military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, was poisoned. Ukrainian media wrote about this, citing sources from the Kiev defense ministry. The woman was diagnosed with heavy metal poisoning. Most likely the poison was placed in the food Budanova consumed. “These substances are in no way used in daily life and military affairs. Their presence may indicate a deliberate attempt to poison a specific person,” sources from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense told local media.
