A human finger in a takeaway salad purchased for lunch. “Indigestible” meal for an American girl from Connecticut sued “fast” restaurant chain Chopt Creative Salad Co, one of the most famous restaurant chains in the United States, over takeaway salads prepared with customer-selected ingredients. But this time, the ingredients weren’t chosen for the salad ordered by customer Allison Cozzi at the Chopt restaurant in Mount Kisco, New York, on April 7. Due to the client’s complaint, the story is now widely reported in the American media.
After months of distress over this disgusting incident, the woman filed a complaint to sue the restaurant chain. According to his reconstruction of the facts, he noticed the severed part of his finger while eating a salad. CBS reported that, according to the accusation, the restaurant manager accidentally cut off part of his index finger while cleaning the rocket. She immediately went to the hospital to treat the wound, but the rocket she cut remained in the kitchen to be served to customers.
The woman later reported that she would experience “panic attacks, migraines, cognitive impairment, nausea, dizziness, and widespread pain” from eating this contaminated salad. That’s why she’s now seeking “economic compensation for an unspecified amount.”
