According to Argentine media, such as Infobae, Milei had not invited the official ceremony investmentscheduled for December 10, to Presidents Daniel Ortega (Nicaragua), Miguel Díaz-Canel (Cuba), Nicolás Maduro (Venezuela) and Ebrahim Raisi (Iran), in order to avoid having to salute rulers who systematically violate human rights and photo in their countries and support terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
“Argentina’s Separation from the ‘Axis’ communist‘will be total. Not only will relations with the three socialist dictatorships in Latin America and with the Iranian Islamic dictatorship be severed, but the (new) Foreign Minister Diana Mondino has confirmed that Argentina will not join the BRICS,” Infobae said.
On November 20, the government of Nicaragua congratulated Milei on his victory, and the Argentine people “for their exemplary and peaceful election day”, conveying “wishes for well-being”.
