A duplex in Arlington, Virginia, exploded while police were trying to serve a search warrant. In fact, neighbors had recently reported a series of explosions that sounded like gunshots. Police attempted to reach the suspect via phone and speakerphone, but the suspect did not respond and remained barricaded in the home. After obtaining a search warrant, officers approached the home shortly before 8.25pm ​​on Monday, December 4.
