Gunshots are heard from a house, police try to get in and everything explodes

A duplex in Arlington, Virginia, exploded while police were trying to serve a search warrant. In fact, neighbors had recently reported a series of explosions that sounded like gunshots. Police attempted to reach the suspect via phone and speakerphone, but the suspect did not respond and remained barricaded in the home. After obtaining a search warrant, officers approached the home shortly before 8.25pm ​​on Monday, December 4. The suspect then “fired several shots” from inside the house, followed by an ‘explosion’.
