A 23-year-old man died in a terrible accident on Australia’s Bribie Island. It was learned that emergency services were called to a campsite in the Coral Sea on the south coast of Queensland at 14:00 on Saturday, December 2: A man had fallen into a large hole and was trapped in the sand.
Josh Taylor was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital and died today, December 7, due to his injuries. Investigators from the Caboolture criminal investigation division are looking for witnesses who may have documented the incident: it apparently occurred during a beach party. According to the information obtained, a 23-year-old boy fell headlong into a 1.5-meter pit dug for roasting pigs.
About 15 people, including friends and family, desperately tried to pull him out until help arrived. When he was pulled from the sand and his friends started CPR, his heart was no longer beating. However, with the advent of the defibrillator, it was possible to restore the heartbeat, but it was too late.
