Zelensky shows a clear goal. ‘We cannot let this happen’
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had convened further meetings of the High Staff, noting that the main task of the state prevent Russian troops from taking the initiative in winter.
– I would like to thank all soldiers and commanders for their steadfastness and courage. The task of our country – even now, in winter, no matter how difficult it is – is to show strength and not let the enemy take the initiative and not allow him to strengthen himself, the leader emphasized in his Friday evening address to the nation.
Volodymyr Zelensky said that during the meeting he received reports on the operational situation on the Kupyansk, Lyman and Donetsk fronts, as well as in the south of the country.
– Today I would especially like to praise the soldiers who have distinguished themselves the most – now and during the fighting in the winter and this autumn – Zelensky emphasized.
