Police are appealing for information after a man was taken to hospital with facial injuries following an “assault” in Cardiff city centre. South Wales Police want to speak to man in photo about an incident at the St Mary Street Proud Mary pub.

A police spokesperson said a 58-year-old man was attacked in the brewery neighborhood at around 12pm on Saturday 18 November. “The victim required hospital treatment due to facial injuries sustained during the attack,” they added. “The suspect has a Liverpool accent. Anyone who recognized him or witnessed the attack should contact us, quoting event number 2300394686.”
