Due to a “police incident”, the road in Pyle was closed in both directions. South Wales Police asked people to avoid the area on Wednesday afternoon. In a social media post, police said: “We are at the scene of an incident on Park Street, Kenfig Hill.
“The road is currently closed in both directions. It is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area.” According to neighbors, the road appears to be open again.
Traffic maps show a lot of traffic in the area. South Wales Police and Welsh Ambulance Service have requested comment on the nature of the incident.
