Tributes have been paid to a “loved” 18-year-old who died suddenly following an incident in north Wales. Chloe Bidwell was an award-winning apprentice carpenter and popular with her friends and colleagues.

Chloe’s university and former school have now paid tribute, North Wales Live reports. A spokesperson for Coleg Menai said: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of one of our students, Chloe Bidwell. Chloe, a talented carpentry student at Coleg Menai, won several national awards and was loved by all. We know her loss will be felt by many and we extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends. “Our dedicated team will support any student or staff affected by this sad news.”

Staff and pupils at his former school, Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi, in Holyhead, were also devastated by the tragedy. In a post on its Facebook page, the school said: “It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved former pupil Chloe Bidwell. Chloe was a person whose presence resonated deeply with all of her employees and colleagues. “Her contagious energy, kindness, dedication and bright spirit that effortlessly lit up the classroom won the hearts of all staff. Chloe was a testament to the limitless potential that exists in each of us.
“She flew the flag for women builders by winning a gold medal in the Welsh Skills Competition. Her passion for carpentry wasn’t just a skill; It was a testament to her determination to break barriers and pave the way for future generations of young women. .He dared to blaze a trail in a field that is often considered unconventional and that embodies courage and resistance against stereotypes. As we show our gratitude to a bright soul, let us continue Chloe’s legacy of unwavering determination, compassionate spirit, and boundless enthusiasm. On Friday, a North Wales Police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, December 20, officers attended a house in Danielle Road, Bangor, following reports of the unexpected death of a woman from 18 years. The coroner and health department have been informed and we continue to investigate the circumstances of the death, which is not considered suspicious.’
