The Office of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported the arrest of Eliuto “N”, defendant for alleged involvement in the crime of illegal deprivation of liberty in an attempt against a 13-year-old teenager.
The events took place on December 17 at Carranza Street in Colônia da Division Norte, Ecatepec.
On this day, the young victim and his mother were cycling when they were intercepted by two subjects driving a white compact vehicle.
One of the attackers got out of the car and brandished a sharp object, threatening the teenager. In an attempt to kidnap her, he grabbed the young woman by the hand and tried to put her into the vehicle.
You can see the events in the video as the young woman manages to escape thanks to the reaction of the mother, who gets off her bike and defends her daughter with her bag.
After the photos circulated on social media, the Public Prosecution Service launched an investigation and conducted office and field actions to identify those responsible.

Eliut “N” was initially arrested by the Public Security and Urban Transport Directorate of Ecatepec for another crime. He remains under the care of the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At a later stage, the social assistance officer asked a judge to issue an arrest warrant against Eliut “N” for attempted deprivation of liberty. This order was issued during his detention so that the detainee was available to the judicial authority, which will decide his legal situation.
