Swiss capital studies want to legalize the minimum dose of cocaine

“Currently we have cocaine in abundance in Switzerland, at lower prices and with a top quality which we have never seen before,” says Frank Zobel, deputy director of Addiction Switzerland. “Nowadays you can get a dose of cocaine for about 10 francs, not much more than the price of a beer.”

Experts point out that the reason behind the price drop of this drug is the saturation of the substance market. In 2022 alone, more than 160 tons of cocaine were seized in Antwerp and Rotterdam, and a much larger quantity entered Europe unnoticed.
