One person was killed and three others were killed in a shooting at a shopping center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, US, on Christmas Eve, local police said on Monday.
The events took place around 4:30 PM local time at the Citadel Mall, where a fight broke out between two groups of people, leading to a gun battle.
Colorado Springs police reported on social media that their officers found a dead man with a gunshot wound inside the mall.
Two other men were taken to hospital in critical condition, while a woman suffered minor injuries.
Local police have arrested several people and are trying to piece together the events and identify those responsible for the incident.
The shopping center in Colorado Springs, 70 miles (114 kilometers) from Denver, was closed by police after the shooting.
